Community Spotlight: G.
After being referred to Community Work Services, G. came for intake and he expressed feeling overwhelmed about his barriers to employment. G. was scheduled to meet with our CORI specialist who assisted him with his background record. He was scheduled to work off-site during his training at CWS due to his professional demeanor and previous work-related experience. G. is self-motivated and always willing to go the extra mile; he is reliable, punctual and a hardworking individual. Silvia Juarez, Bilingual Case Manager, assisted G. as he developed his professional resume in order to start searching for employment. He began his job search and submitted his resume to many different organizations. G. was soon offered a full-time position as a maintenance employee at Baystate Medical Center on January 3, 2017 where he is still currently employed.
